We are all on the road to self-discovery and self-awareness and we’re not meant to walk it alone. We face different challenges on this road which sometimes can be overwhelming and we may feel like we are helpless.  All the challenges are great lessons though, and are meant to help us get back to ourselves – the person we are truly meant to be. By releasing old patterns, blockages and gaining understanding of those life lessons we reach deeper awareness of our inner being, learn to step into our true power and walk on our path with head held high and peace in our hearts.

I have worked with people like you for over 15 years. And I have a GIFT. My gift allows me to guide you towards your True Self not just through my therapeutic experience but also by channelling the words that will open up the space in you that wants to shine through. In that space you will find all of the answers that you seek. All answers come from you to yourself and I’m the missing piece that allows you to hear them.

I always adjust the technique to an individual needs of the client and I don’t forget about spiritual aspect of each person. With the help of years of experience, deep empathy and highly developed intuition I will guide you towards inner freedom, happiness and most importantly YOUR TRUE SELF!

How long does the therapy process take?

This varies from person to person. The duration can be anything from a couple of sessions, few weeks to months or longer. You always have the choice of whether you continue with the process. You will be offered periodic reviews and it is important to remember that you can discuss finishing at any time.

What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a conversation with someone who has been trained to listen in such way that he can really hear you. It is a professional assistance to people who are experiencing personal issues, in order to help them understand their difficulties and work through them to increase the individual’s sense of his/her own well-being and enhance their level of enjoyment of life.

While counselling tends to deal more with immediate issues that may have arisen more recently , psychotherapy tends to deal with deeper, more long-term issues that may be rooted in the past, where the affects of such are ongoing. It is hard to distinguish between the two terms as they often overlap.

Psychotherapists employ a range of techniques based on experiential relationship building, dialogue, communication and behaviour change that are designed to improve the mental health of a person and teach him skills that he/she can then apply in life.

What problems can be addressed through psychotherapy?

  • feeling lost or without direction in life
  • past trauma
  • relationship problems
  • anxiety
  • depression
  • healing from abuse
  • phobias
  • addictions
  • family crisis, including separation
  • bereavement
  • obsessions
  • self-harm
  • any other emotional, psychological or spiritual issues

How does psychotherapy help?

Psychotherapy helps by giving you a space to talk about your feelings. It can be a huge relief to know that what you are feeling is normal and that you are not going mad. Most people struggle with powerful or unexpected feelings which for most are ‘normal feelings’ in relation to ‘abnormal circumstances’ not the other way around. Also by bringing your problems out into the open, in the atmosphere of non-judgement and acceptance you will be able to change your perspective on the troublesome situation and find better, more lasting solutions.

What happens in the session?

We start by talking about what it is that you want to work on or change in life. During the conversation we identify the underlying issues that need attention and we work on them with different tools. Sometimes you may even get homework!

As these are subtle matters of the mind, heart and spirit, we always go with what happens during the session and go from there. It is of the most importance that you can have trust in your therapist in order to open up, so confidentiality and privacy are a must. The goal is to empower you to use your own power and teach you ways to deal with life’s difficulties in a constructive, positive way.

How often do I attend?

It is best to attend at least once a week for 1 hour session, as it gives your therapist time to get to know you and it helps you when you begin to get in touch with your deeper feelings. Your therapist is also just an e-mail away, if you have any issues in between the sessions.
